WORK EXPERIENCE
ClickPoint Software - Tester and Debugger JANUARY 2020 - APRIL 2021
Tested software and reported issues, analyzed and verified bug reports
Edited and fixed knowledgebase articles to assist customers with using the software
Created automated testing scripts; sent HTTP requests to API for debugging
Corvus Robotics - Electronics and Power Systems Engineer APRIL 2021 - PRESENT
Designed the motherboard for the next generation of computer vision industrial logistics drones, featuring an x86 CPU, PCI express, USB 2 and 3, a GPU, SATA 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and many other interfaces and standards. Engineered the electrical schematic, PCB and reduced cost via BOM simplification and consolidation.
Redesigned a landing pad controller by adding high-current power control MOSFETs and other features to save on wiring costs and fabrication lead time. Also swapped many chips to combat silicon shortage.
Designed a monolithic motor controller board with multiple DC-DC regulators and high-current connectors to reduce wiring and decrease lead time.
Improved manufacturing yield, lowered cost by 30% and reduced lead time for a multi-camera interface PCB for an autonomous UAV by selecting new connectors, rerouting portions of the board, and removing the need for back-drilled vias.
Quantica GmbH - Computer and Electronics Engineer, PCB Test Engineer MAY 2021 - PRESENT
Designed the electrical schematic and 14-layer PCB for a multi-camera streaming board for a large scale industrial 3D printer, featuring an NXP i.MX8M CPU, LPDDR4 memory, USB 3.0, PCI express, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and MIPI CSI-2.
Designed the electrical schematic and 4-layer PCB for a multi-camera streaming carrier board featuring multiple high-current power regulators and many high speed connectors, such as MIPI CSI+DSI and PCI express
Handled PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing in order to produce a functional and bootable system.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
